New Taric's Heal

One thing I have noticed about new Taric's heal is that it is nowhere near as powerful as it was before. I had 3.5k health, from building pure tank and tear so I wouldn't go oom after several heals, but hp scaling alone only increased the heal by 25hp due to the 1.5% bonus health scaling per charge. Granted, this is a group heal now, but still it feels very weak compared to the 5% bonus health scaling on his old heal when casted on an ally. This is a straight up nerfnuke to his heal and should be addressed, especially in ARAM where his heal is practically nonexistent unless you're spamming it every time it comes off cd, but you burn through ALL your mana doing that. Am I alone in thinking this?

Of course you are out of mana if you spam it on CD... -_-

That's the point of it having charges, you need to wait for charges to have a better mana-efficiency. And a 4.5% Bonus Health ratio, pretty close to the old 5%. On a 45s CD, which is pretty long, granted, but which is also massively reduced by his passive.

Don't forget this is now an AoE that can heal at least two people, at most your whole team. Weaker during the laning phase, yes, but better as the game advance and as the fights are escalating.

I'm a Taric main, and I love the rework. The heal isn't as powerful, but the shield and double dazzle makes up for it in my opinion. His ult is kinda "meh", but is great when it actually works, and he has some pretty good damage on his bravado if you build a lot of armor.

the new heal is pretty shitty to be fair. the only thing that makes new taric op is his ult. his stun is fine. his w is weaker than the old w. and again way way weaker heal. old taric had the strongest single ability heal in the game. most potent. now sonas heal is stronger lol.

I am sure this is intentional. His old heal was way underrated, primarily because of the long early game CD and how it was only leveled in the later half of the game. But once he got building health and maxed the ability level to 5 he was healing for a lot. It would be pretty safe to say he was the second best healer assuming he had the mana and some CDR. So it's not surprising the number got hit hard when they reworked it. Especially since it can theoretically heal his entire team.

I would expect a maybe slight number change. But not much.

Knock off 30 mana at rank 5 and it would be worth it to heal at less than 3 stacks.
