Has Press the Attack disappeared?
It just doesn't seem that viable on anyone anymore. Especially now that Lucian has Klepto. Is there anyone left who actually uses Press the Attack effectively? It seems to be just a dead rune.

Jax jungle. Lucian is better with Press the attack than klepto. Tristana is really good with it. Camille top against other bruisers or Camille jungle. Taric support is really effective with it. Caitlin is good with it.

A lot of champions can viably use press the attack, its just that conqueror tends to be preferred since you can have it up after the first attack, or even before hitting a champion that you want to kill (like in a group fight)
Also true damage from conqueror heals you if you have ravenous hunter.
Also press the attack shouldn't increase any true damage that you or your teammates would do, not sure how its calculated with conqueror and infinity edge tho but im guessing it doesn't.
With all the true damage in the game that makes press the attack even less useful
I still use it to great extent, but mostly on junglers and ADCs. Primarily I use it on those that I don't fully intend to rack up a ton of kills, but on Team Fighters.

You should not go klepto on lucian it actually does nothing in most lanes.
I almost always use it on kled.
i mean yea and no, Rene, jax......thats about it maybe teemo if your trolling, conq or lethal all day
The few players that use Trundle swear by it, but I've always found Grasp to be more useful, both in lane and jungle.
jax jg needs it, renekton takes it 90% of games, warwick takes it, master yi takes it jg a lot, xin takes it into certain matchups, trundle takes it, trynda jg takes it, vayne takes it, riven takes it into some matchups still, a lot of adcs still take it if that matchup is right, camille takes it, shyvanna takes it, udyr takes it, there are a lot of champions who take it still its not dead, its just not the best choice rn as a lot of auto attack champions dont synergize well with it
All of these champions can make pretty decent use out of this rune.
I really like it on Ashe. 3 shots to proc it, one more shot, and then rain down with Q.
Renekton takes it top vs certain matchups
lucian & taric are the only people i can think of that would prefer it over something. it's not bad, it's just that conqueror exists and burst damage > sustained damage right now. also haven't seen anybody take klepto on lucian yet but that's probably just me being unlucky
There are more champions that use Press The Attack than you realize. It's just Press The Attack was casted in Conqueror's shadow. :/
