Implementing Traditional Champions

With all of these reworks happening i think it would be an amazing idea to let the league of legends community decide if we can add old version of major reworked champs like Karma, Yorick, and Kayle. Just an idea! probably not in ranked or normal games but in custom games or in its own gamemode. I think people would have a way better experience of league of legends. any ones input on this would really be appreciated. please note that i'm trying to keep this away from normal games especially ranked. a seperate game mode or just custom is my goal.

Those champions are gone though, they don't keep the assets for that stuff. They fully redid them.

That'd be like making an entirely new champion, again though. They have many other projects that they've already put the resources into, so there's very little to no chance that they would ever do something like this.

I mean, they might have the source code still OP doesn't really want them back to the game, rather being able to play them in customs or stuff like this

The reason those champions are gone is partly because of unhealthy design, if old poppy came back it would be a disaster. Fiora was a complete feast or famine Yorick was oppressive lane bully akali was face roll button masher aatrox was impossible yo balance with his drain tanking,

yes i agree they wouldnt be fitting in norms or ranked at all but if they had their own game mode where you can do that it doesnt really affect the people who dont want the traditional champions anyway. Idk if you read the forum but it does imply that i clearly dont want them in normal or ranked at all.

Even though I love Old Karma I very much disagree with this. Most of the Champions that have recieved large scale reworks were extremely unhealthy to the game and should never return to regular play. Maybe make a mode where you can only play as pre reworked champions and that is it fine, but it should never be added back to a traditional summoners rift game.

yes the idea is to only add it to custom games not normal or draft. also i edited the discusion implying it would only be custom or its own game mode.

Not the kits just appearance. Ascended Kayle should absolutely have been Kayles old VO/appearance with new (as in, base) animations. Same with every VGU. Gali, Poppy, Yorick...

Is not that easy ...a lot of work would be needed for that (animations)...
