Game after game, I play tanks because I enjoy that playstyle. Unfortunately playing tanks in this game means you take winning from your hands and place it in your teammates hands. Go 3/0/2 Top lane Sion, crush your opponent, doesn't mean anything. Your Adc is 0/4/0, your midlane is 1/6/3, and your jungle is 0/3/0, welp you lost because you enjoy playing tanks, and tanks can't carry. It's disgusting how the only way to rank up is to play someone who can 1v9.

This is 'team' game, but don't play for the team because they will suck 75% of the time. Pick Yi and afk farm the whole game, and your team feeds doesn't matter can still win. 136 champs in the game can only play about 1/5th to progress in ranked. Enjoy any of the other ones, haha jokes on you.

To be fair, most carry top laners couldn't have carried that kind of game either.

I mean, sure. That's true if you literally AFK the game.

Otherwise, your actions matter.

Can you 1v9 as a tank? Probably not. But are your actions meaningful enough to impact the outcome of a game? Absolutely.

Climbing isn't about winning 10 games in a row. It's about winning more games than you lose. You absolutely can do that, regardless of which role you play.

I gave an up vote. You can carry as a tank but.... it's different. Like.... in mid silver and lower I don't feel like playing tanks because to me it's literally a 1v9 scenario. Which is why I don't really feel like playing flex queue right now. My best jungler is currently Gragas . When I have high silver + teammates I have had a lot of success playing Gragas . But lower than that I can really get punished for playing gragas. In the end it probably evens out.. but It feels better playing a carry so 1v9 rather than having to try and depend on my teammates at all. What people don't realize when playing in silver or bronze is people may not even know how to cast an ability. It gets really annoying playing a tank when you need to depend on your teammates to do some damage early game and they literally sit there, do nothing, miss all their skill shots, or just walk into enemy abilites/team without doing anything and dying.

That's why I am mad about being in bronze in flex queue trying to hit gold. 1. rank levels vary a lot. 2. since I am bronze... I literally have no idea who the fuck I will be matched with. I have to assume no one knows how to play at all so I just play carries. Going Gragas could pay off but..... it only would because I better teammates that game so we would most likely win anyways even if I played a carry so why waste time trying to tank is I can just play a carry?

I've resorted to basically playing Sejuani as a bruiser. Tank items are just horrible right now, you need some to not be destroyed, but the more tank items you can replace with things like Triforce/Titanic/Gauge and get away with the better.

Tanks are by definition a class that works with his team, if you dont like that then why the hell are you playing a tank in the first place?

No, the poppy 1v5 days of rushing sunfire and faceroll ppl into oblivion are not tanks being "balanced".
