Elo ranking and norms.

How does the ELO ranking thing work? and how can i fix it? i currently won 7 out of my 10 ranked games.. yet i still got bronze 2... i used to be silver 5 on season 4.. is there a way i can fix my elo by not playing ranked? or i must be playing ranked and winning my games in order for my elo to boost up and don't get crappy team mates...

you need to play ranked if you want to raise your ranked MMR. Those "crappy" team mates have around the same MMR you do so you are just as crappy as they are

I won 3 of my provisionals and got bronze 1, and my friend won 6 and got silver 3.... how did you only get bronze 2?!
