Increase of Bans

Does anyone think it's a good time for the bans to increase to 5 per team?

Three per team just isn't enough and it makes it more and more difficult to really nail all of the common bans that we can't get out of a 3 ban per team basis.

I say this out of the amount of champions available. There are compositions that are obviously stronger than others, and I get that. But I just do not think 3 bans are enough at this state of the game's history. I remember when we only had 2 bans, and then both teams ended up getting 3. I remember the confusion everyone had, but it turned out to be useful because of the amount of champions and compositions that existed back then. 3, as it stands, is not enough.

Thoughts?

Sadly, this has really been needed for quite a while now... and it likely won't happen any time soon.

Personally I would love to see Riot implement a system where you ban w champions, pick x champions, ban y champions, pick z champions. I think this would be a good way to allow for more bans without completely annihilating the entire champion pool of either team involved (as far as pro play is concerned).

Could also shake up the meta as far as team comps go.

Also allows for possibly countering of "intended" teamcomps with the second ban phase.

so basically, I can just choose to ban almost every good jungler in the game, and leave them with some shitty jungler to pick from. or same with ADC's and Supports..sounds like it would be abused in that manor lol

I think an increase to 4 would be fine. I think that it would have the added benefit that Riot could see what champions need nerfing due to perma-bans alone.
