Older player just getting back into it... some help?

I left for real life stuff in the middle of S3 and I'm just now coming back... What are the meta champs right now for the positions? Like, if anyone would be so kind could you give me like the three champs for each role that are the main ones. When I left it was like Lulu, Ryze, Gragas were the top dominators.. Lucian was the bot lane god and my main (hoping he's still viable.) etc etc.

Just if anyone can give me some insight on what I'll be facing/should be learning that'd be great.

haven't played too much SR because of the Bilgwater event. But I have been keeping up with the LCS.

Toplane: Maokai, and Rumble seem to be pretty good, if your a team player. Ryze is also a decent late game pick.

Gragas is the Primer, Tank Jungler at the moment with Cinderhulk. Elise got buffed recently, with her doing a 1.6 second stun with her E. And with Sated Devourer, a hand full of AA junglers are now fairly good.

Assassins have pretty much disappeared from the mid lane. The LCS favors a lot of AD poke Champions Like Varus and Jayce, but they have also picked up the likes of Viktor, and TF.

ADC: Vayne is pretty good, so is trist, and I believe Jinx. Ashe got reworked and saw some pro play. Sivir is a decent pick if you use her engage right.

Supports: Mostly Tank supports. Thresh, Alistar, And we have also seen some shen support.

Thanks man. Kalista seems like a pretty powerful pick. Just played a couple games with her dropping 20+. Pretty fun champ.

http://champion.gg/ You can sort by popularity, winrate, and overall performance. As well as see general builds and how they do in various matchups for individual champions.

Should be a decent way to gauge what you will see, and what overall is pretty strong right now.

well actually in the meta currently a majority of champs are viable however adc meta is a little weird from what i can tell other then that, eve is having some issues atm i cant speak about elise as i dont play her i believe ryze is considered weak now. now as far as i know about the whole adc thing(which isnt much i dont adc a lot) mf and twitch are considered fairly weak atm lucian is ok if you can play him imo just isnt played often vayne is doing pretty well due to the fact they brought tanks back into the meta
