Ekko is a problem child

i'm sorry but Ekko, his ult is too strong. This isnt coming from me playing against him, its from playing as him. The ratios on his ult, are far too high. Literally exploded teams twice with it. like the 1st time, i hovered over it to see how much damage it could do, this is at the 30+ minute mark, it was around 1300 total. So i used it and pretty much instantly got a quadra kill and won the game for my team. I jsut used it again now, and a took a full health ziggs, down to zero in 1 move. I just feel that its a bit unfair to use his ult when it does 1500+ damage without any charge up time. I mean Nunu's ult doe a lot, but he needs to charge that shit 1st.

Yeh i feel like i am playing him relatively well, he is extremely fun to play as and to watch in general, his moves seem so crisp and there is a lot of trickery that can go along with it, seriously he jukes better than Leblanc but i feel he is definately on the strong side, if just nerfing his ult ratios would do it then thats great!

Well i do want to agree with you but he just came out so you will be obliterating people and once people learn his kit and play style his ult can be very easily avoided because you just have to watch his following ghost. I think his ult is meant to do that much damage because thino about it, his only damage ability is Q and his passive which only works once every X amount of time on the same target. Everything else just improves his fighting style. So he needs that ultimate damage to pull off his quick assassinations. He is kind of like talon AOE except he can stun/shield. Also ekko has no other valued strengths like splitpushing, wave clear etc. So in my opinion he is a fine champion. As time passes people will learn to counter. Although 120% ability power is insane so i might just tone that to 100%

Everything is a problem at Bronze/ Silver elo.

His ult just needs to be removed in general. He can towerdive better than fucking Tryndamere.

He has like, 2 ult-feeling abilities.

His ult, and his damn W, while that one is way harder to use, the slow, really good stun, and a disgustingly powerful shield. That W seems better than some peoples ACTUAL ults.

can we just delete him and replace him with ao shin

I think one of the biggest reasons it does so much damage is simple:

Your enemies CONSTANTLY have a 4 second warning that updates in real-time.

Yes, in a teamfight this can be a problem, but a teamfight isn't an excuse. If you can't keep track of important things like that, you're shitty at teamfighting.

A single screenshot from Silver III where the Ahri was also wicked fed confirms it.

the way how i view ekkos is like the way i view fizz. They are both assassins, which means they should have a high damage output. I think this champ is fine how it is just ppl dont know how to play against him yet.

Yeah, I don't know why they made such a high utility spell also do damage near equivalent to Tristana's troublesome R. It does 1.3x his AP. Trist's R is a 1.5x. Well, as we all know, an E and R was usually enough to kill a sqishy. If you Q the enemy team to slow them, then R into them for the maxed Q, passive, and R, you just did 2.8x your AP instantly. .7 on his passive, .8 on his Q (It's .2 for the toss, .6 for the return, so it is balanced properly for you to dodge it, still could use a tone down though), and a 1.3x on his R. It's WAY too high. A .8 woiuld've been enough for that R really.

It's telegraphed four seconds ahead of time in terms of positioning.

I wouldn't mind it being nerfed a bit, but it should deal enough damage to be respected. Are people just ignoring the ghost, are entire teams ignoring the thing?

Let's nerf the people grouping around the afterimage with a glowing symbol above it, then regroup and see if the damage still needs to go down. The damage is actually there partially to keep people from "camping" the afterimage, so it has to have a reasonable threat level.

However, just for reference, I'd like anyone doubting in the slightest that Ekko's ult does a button of damage to go ahead and compare his numbers with Malzahar's ult.

The Balance Team (Micky mouse voice): "Hiya folks, lets make our next champion have an AoE Veigar ult, haha. And lets make it heal and dodge abilities too, haha. We need to fuck balance just like we psychologically fuck kids for money with our sexual innuendos in every Disney movie, haha."

Oh wait micky mouse isn't on the balance team? Oh. Still relevant though right?

Vel'koz's ult does more damage, is ranged and requires less set up. No one complains about it.
