26/7 W/L is probably a pretty big factor there.
MMR jumps around like crazy when you have relatively few games, and it can overshoot your 'true' mmr by a lot if you go on big win streaks.
Combine that with normals mmr being separate from ranked (and the more people focus on ranked the more they tend to neglect normals, resulting in low-ish normals mmr), and throw in dash of really long queue time, and that sort of match pops out.
definitely the most unbalanced matchmaking i've seen~~ in a while~~
Their ranking has absoultely 100% nothing to do with matchmaking in normals.
wow. Riot fix this shit already
wtf...
When that many high ELO players queue together in a normal, matchmaking has no choice because there isnt an equivalent to match them against.
What rank is your main btw?
Hope they applied lube before the anal beating lmao
I understand that this is pretty retarded to have to play with, but Normals use a different mmr than Ranked. Since they are that high elo, it is very unlikely that they even play normals that much and mainly play ranked. Along with my last statement, I doubt that any high elo players were queuing for normals at that time, so you probably got matched with whatever they could find for them.
I forgot to mention, they are full premade, while we have only 2 players premade... explain that
I love getting matched against 3 gold a plat and a diamond player when I am unranked and was silver last season T_T_T_T_T_T_T_T_________T FUN
well, I guess, this was a challenge to the enemy team [slayer-jinx-wink]
ohq? that guy is a fucking lcs player?
Diamonds premaded with gold Elo, somehow the system messed up and instead of facing them with at least a Plat team, they mix them vs >30s. Also the diamond rank means nothing due to how normals MMR works.
Your win/loss ratio + the fact someone on your team was premade with the diamond probably boned the system. Given that it took 10 minutes to get a game, the system probably allowed for wider and wider skill gaps because it doesn't want you to wait for 30 minutes for a game.
I wouldn't be surprised if more people on your team also had very high win/loss ratios increasing your team's competitiveness so to speak.
There's a diamond on your team. End of story.
5 man pre-made diamond+ vs non-ranked, feelsbadman [zombie-brand-facepalm]
At first I was like holy crap, but then I saw the 26 wins 7 losses. That's easily diamond MMR.
ikr, wtf...how the fuck did you manage to kill a challenger player twice? Clearly something is wrong.
