So I just started playing Leblanc....

And it's BS. COMPLETE BS.

I know I'm not the highest ranking person in league. I'm only sitting at Silver 2 right now, but seriously Leblanc is too effing strong. All I have to do is hit W (Doesn't even matter if I land on them or not) then proceed to "quickly" press Q+R and they either lose 1/4 or 1/2 of their health depending on which items I have for laning phase.

I seriously feel bad for the mid laners that have to go against Leblanc, because their team is ALWAYS so bm. They always want to report the mid laner for feeding me, but seriously what are they suppose to do again that BS combo? I get them to half health and they either leave and lose waves of cs or stay and die. If a jungler comes to gank...oh who am I kidding that's not something that happens. But seriously all I have to do is ward both sides and the lane is won.

I feel like there's something seriously wrong with this picture, but hey what do I know. I'm only silver.

make her q and R(q) a skill shot.

then make her w have a .75 second warning.

huge buffs i swear

Hey now. LB dashing to you, point-and-click QR-ing for 50% of your HP and dashing back, all in 0.5 seconds is obviously very fun to play against and has a lot of counterplay.

You basically HAVE to counterpick her or play very cautiously, since you can't start item 1033 anymore and since she can start chunking you down at level 2.

Galio works great. Cho's not bad either. Karma destroys her, amusingly. Other people can still hold their own, but you have to play defensively. I've had decent results as TF.

So Leblanc uses her gap-closer and then uses her Q and the ult (and maybe throws her E at you to pop the mark from her R?) and it takes 25%-50% of your health?

So Leblanc uses her entire kit and spends all that mana and...shouldn't be allowed to deal that much damage to you?

Are you complaining about the damage Leblanc does or how fast she can deal it? Because that's a huge difference.

Now I feel like an old man...

"Why, back in my day, Leblanc poked even harder...and less of it was back-loaded in the Q mark...and popping her Q mark also Silenced you...and she could just QRW you then teleport back and deal tons of damage while you were Silenced...and she was still considered pretty bad even though all of us knew this and she had consistently iffy win-rates. Kids these days..."

LeBlanc is a mage assassin. She is hyper squishy and not that good in team fights. More of a champ that picks out the other squishys.

She has 47.5% win rate.

Personally I think she is strong as fuck, I even made a smurf dedicated to playing her (Lei3lanc), but the 47.5% win rate shows the majority of people can't play her well.

I have 3 main problems with leblanc. her w on it's own does high damage, her w has a MASSIVE radius to the point that you almost can't juke it at all, and she can re-tele to her w both instantly and for ridiculously long.

Leblanc has everything that Riot's balance team says they hate

point and click nukes and top-notch safety on an assassin

but they do barely anything about it

the PBE has tiny (0.05) AP ratio nerfs to parts of her kit, but numbers won't change her, its the kit makes her what she is

leblanc has a horrible time pushing. if you dont have a team smart enough to knock down turrets when the enemy's dead or smart enough to cover your lane when you roam its game over. at bronze/silver you can average 15-20 kills a game and still lose constantly for the simple fact your lane pressure's low.

I was platinum last season and mained Brand, I have around 170 ranked games with him. Leblanc is one of the hardest counters to Brand, and I win my lane against her around 75% of the time. Here are my tips for playing against her (they apply to most assassins as well).

Playing against Leblanc requires a particular playstyle. She is insanely strong in lane, and you have to respect her, but she has two glaring weaknesses and if you abuse them without letting her kill you, you will probably win the game. First, she is not as good at waveclearing than most mages. If you just sit back, get an early chalice (even has MR to mitigate her burst a little) and just push the lane with your spells constantly and just farm, you should do fine. Second, she falls off mid-late game compared to most mages because she has less teamfight presence. Those two things combined mean that if you manage to play the lane passively and don't get any kills, you will still be far ahead of Leblanc due to having more farm and scaling better than her. Get barrier or heal at the very least, not ignite (since as I said, you don't need to kill her to outscale her, you just need to not die).

I personally don't find Leblanc's kit too toxic, I enjoy playing against her because it feels challenging, like playing with fire (get it? I main Brand)

Sometimes, when I play LeBlanc, if the jungler comes to gank, it means a double kill for me. :|

Leblanc is strong for laning but her teamfighting is pathetic, I had a game where I was going 20-3 or so on Leblanc and we lost. Why? Not because I sucked because in teamfights I couldn't erase their carries fast enough. I could burst one down sure but my team was so behind that their other two carries would clean up the team fight no problem while I had to hide back and wait on CDs, by which point my team was done and I had to try and make picks in a 3+ vs 1 situation which rarely worked out since I'd get CCed and bursted. Their team had a fed Sivir, and a fed Jungle Nid going into team fights, through those team fights their mid Vel managed to get to the point where he was a threat too, I would always try to go for the Sivir but her shield glitch always blocked my Q+R combo (Sivir's shield is bugged so it sometimes absorbs two spells if they land on her in short succession), and if I bursted Vel or Nid the Sivir and the live one would just finish off my team.
