Yasuo this champ winrate is the lowest of all champs as of right now atn 43% , im not saying hes a bad champ im just venting that he can get countered by almost every bruiser. That is all

Just some things I have to point out as a pretty avid Yasuo player.

Personally he deserves to have low numbers all around, considering everything he has for a melee carry.

With those many nerfs he isn't someone you should blindly pick into any team comp, he should be a center piece to one with a powerful AoE knockup or 2. Alistar Malphite Nautilus as some examples. He still does passable damage, but if Yasuo got into a 1v1 with any other melee carry. He would lose, hard.

Also picking him top is bad most of the time, he fits mid better because he has alot of anti-ranged tools with his wall, passive shield, and mobility. He gets destroyed by most melee champions in general. (Try facing a decent Darius player with him, you'll be sorry)

The other thing about him is his awkward power spikes. Yasuo reaches full strength at 2 items, but doesn't get much more powerful after those. Unlike other melee carries who keep getting stronger the longer a game goes. Because of this, Yasuo has a better mid game then say Yi or Fiora. But late game he gets outshined pretty hard.

But he goes mid, usually, away from the bruisers.

Not just bruisers. He tends to falter against virtually any non projectile champ pre 6 (unless the champ in question is also weak pre 6), especially against the likes of champs like Malzahar.

Yas is high skill high reward champ and isnt meant to duel bruisers. He's superb with a team comp that he can thrive off of or super late game once you've built tanky (if not in a comp)

I feel like as long as Yasuo has a manaless, damaging dash that has negligible cooldown, double crit innate, and doesn't have some form of resource gating that he's going to be left in a low damage, low survivability form.

Yasuo IS a bad champion, but not for his stats. His design (poking skill, negation of counter-poking, chasing mobility, self-shield) would be much more tolerable should he have mana or even energy forcing him to play smart with his Steel Tempests. Then he could receive damage buffs etc.

As long as there is no consequence for hitting nothing with a Q, Yasuo will have problems. The issue is the same with champions like Riven (slightly subverted as missing abilities subjects you to meaningful cooldowns) and Katarina (who has irritatingly high amounts of "safe" poke that she can dish out before instantly retreating and mitigating damage taken).

As long as there is not a significant gating mechanic (cooldowns are NOT a gating mechanic) manaless champions will have an unassailable advantage over mana champions.
