My friend has recently been banned for being toxic in a game but it was his first offense and he is confused on why it went straight to a 14 day suspension and not just a chat ban, He was also wondering why the person he was being toxic to was not banned for they were being indubitably more toxic than he was.
Leylania1 votesAh always that "friend". Without chat logs we can't really discuss the ban with you since we don't know what you/your friend said ingame. And how do you know that they didn't get punished? If they flamed and you or your friend reported them then they will get punished aswell.
Packun Flower1 votesYou're "Friend" was probably skipped straight to a 14 day ban because of the things he said. He probably said a lot of hate speech, racism, sexism and told who he was being toxic to to kill themselves. In all cases Riot has a 0 tolerance policy towards that and you WILL skip straight to a 14 day ban if you do it.
Your "Friend" should be thankful he was not perma banned, but his next punishment will be if he's even the slightest bit toxic again.
