Im trying to decide who I want to buy next and I was thinking about kindred. Is Kindred viable right now? I am in silver, so does she work well at that elo? any input would be greatly appreciated! thanks :)

I know nothing of viability. For me that champ is fun. For more actual purposes you can use your ult to stop people from bursting. Helps against Rengar.

"Is Kindred viable right now? I am in silver, so does she work well at that elo?" Don't take this the wrong way: Everyone works at your Elo. Everyone works at Elos below and above yours.

Think about it. There is only going to be very few players who will be so experienced at this game with so much understanding that they can take advantage of small, inherent weaknesses in the output of a champion. And those people are going to be competing for Masters tier. What matters is whether or not you play with the champion well.

Have you played Kindred? Do you like Kindred? Does Kindred fit with your playstyle? You should ask yourself these, because it doesn't matter how somebody else plays Kindred, you are the one who is going to be dropping a months worth of IP.

Kindred is really strong right now if you have the right comp. You can't play them into any team and expect success, though. She's also very high in terms of skill-cap, so you'd have to dedicate a pretty hefty amount of time working with them to understand their strengths and limitations.

Personally, I think she'll be a much stronger pick in the new team builder, but until that gets implemented you'll struggle getting a good team build for her. You'd probably be better off working on a more versatile jungle pick in the meantime-- a Rek'Sai, Lee Sin, Elise, or Poppy.

Very strong right now, flexible pick, very fun to play for a while, but gets boring after like 20-30 games. At least that's my experience. Just becomes another point-click burst-you-down-in-a-few-seconds ADCs.
