Getting out of Bronze

Improve your farming. Everything but your one singed game is lower than 5 cs/minute

These champions can 1 vs 3/4 if you aim their abilities right in Bronze. Also, they are more likely to still be useful even if a bit behind. Furthermore, you tend to end up with better team comps when you pick these guys.

Don't do assassins, they are too hard to carry with (they may or may not win the game if ahead, they will definitely lose it if behind) and fall off too hard. They also lead to awkward team comps (ex 2 diver/assassins and no tanks or 3 non-tank utility champs, 1 assassin, and 1 ADC); awkward team comps is a very solid way to lose games.

supports can actually be the best for climbing in low elo, as many supports in this range are autofilled and cannot play their role well. I would recommend a support that can keep your most likely inbred adc alive, such as braum or thresh

Learn/play jungle and influence the whole map. Don't feel bad about securing kills from your laners - they might not know what to do with the gold. (That's not saying you know any better than they do, but it feels better)

Or play support and get your ADC fed. (or get yourself fed and change the game. (Play Karma and build Redemption or Locket. One is enough. And get damage items + Ardent Censer if you don't get Redemption))

The only way to climb is by jungling in bronze. Team mates are feeding? Oh well, go use them as bait and take shut down gold. Someone is over extending top lane? Free kill. Wave shoved in to tower when a team mate is afk? Free farm.

Pray to the random number gods and hope you get people who know what they're doing and make less mistakes than the other team. Never surrender because some dingus can always throw the match - and pray more and hope your team doesn't do something like farm wolves instead of taking a turret. Silver is pretty much the same story. Gold? Same story again, except the team winning is much less likely to throw.

Ever since riot introduced these new masteries, close games have become a rarity, solo carrying has become much more difficult, and the ability to have a comeback has been made much more difficult.

I learned a lot by getting destroyed by a veteran bronze player and a gold league player in-game. Find someone in diamond and ask to play a game with them and you will no doubt climb after they destroy you over and over again. It sure taught me how to get good.

Most important thing: Don't play mechanically intensive champs and such.

Learning jungle. You don't even need good mechanics, just macro play. Counting jungle CS and respawn timers. You basically know where the enemy jungle is at all times.

Play early game junglers
