Yi untargetable or invulnerable during Alpha Strike?

The description says untargetable. This should mean he can be hit and even killed by AoE and skill shots (with perfect timing and/or luck), just not auto attacks or hit with point and click spells. I've noticed that AoE spells have not been damaging him once he initiates his Alpha Strike, even if the AoE covers the entire area of his alpha strike.

Is the description wrong, and it's supposed to say invulnerable?

When untargetable, you can only be affected by DOT spells.

Some tethers (like Nocturne's) will kick him out of untargetability if timed correctly.

Any projectiles currently targeting him also cancel out. Its broken af just like maokai.
