It's been TWO MONTHS since Riotscruffy assured us that Mordekaiser would be viable solo lane

And the sad thing is I bet everyone in the community already expects it to reach THREE months with mordekaiser being stuck in this terrible state.

They don't know what they are doing to Morde.

They don't know what their changes are doing to the Community.

The Reworked Lore could be awesome but the thing is we still won't like it out of spite Because this whole rework amounts to emotional torture

By the end our spirits so drained we don't care anymore about morde about League

riot took our champion broke him. ground our dreams into dust and when they do the big reveal. I won't be here anymore. In fact I'm already gone.

Honey, it's been a year since Cassiopeia was released and she's still left in the horrid state that she's in: an overloaded Twin Fang that prevents her from being fine-tuned and balanced. Riot doesn't care about their community or champions. Riot's slowly ruining their game, and they're too arrogant to see that. They're losing their player base little by little.

No, as much as they are messing up, they are not losing their player base.

Much like World of Warcraft was during WotLK, they are peaking. And they see this growth as being due to the changes they are/have done recently (last 12-18 months). But much like WoW during WotLK, the peaking is from what happened before THIS direction took place. A single change has very little effect quickly. It adds up over time. And right now Riot is building their own downfall, but they can not see it due to the growth they see now and the cash they are bringing in.

They ARE losing their player base, though. Keyword: little by little. I've seen a couple of players, some beta players, quit the game because of the changes to Veigar, Mordekaiser, and on the gutting of Kassadin. They still have a healthy, large sum of players, but there are a few who are calling it quits now because of their drastic changes with little consideration toward their playerbase and mains.

They do lose some players, but for every one player that leaves you probably have two new players joining.

I dont know a single person who would recommend this game to a friend as a new game. First of all there are 120 champs, it takes forever to learn, secondly I've been playing way more than an average person for 4 years and I still dont have everything unlocked (i have everything I want but...)

The new player experience is awful, I learned this leveling a Zed only smurf so I could learn how to play assassins, I am a very positive player and it was still a terrible experience for me.

This game is only being played by people who have been here for a while and the only reason I still play it at all is to justify the 100s of dollars i've spent, im not having enough fun to keep buying skins though so I havent bought anything in a while.

If they stay, however. The new player experience is horrid. Riot doesn't impart enough information to their new players, on top of smurfs discouraging new players from staying and continuing to play. League is still going to be strong for the long run, but their player base is declining very, very slowly.

They could add the isolation bonus on his Q back and reduce the base damage slightly. Like... Unisolated: 3/6/9/12/15 (+21/22/23/24/25% AD) (+15% AP) Isolated: 5/10/15/20/25 (+25/27.5/30/32.5/35% AD) (+22% AP)

Like before rework.

Man, mordekaiser used to do more damage on a single target if he couldn't do the AoE with his Old Q

This could help for starters. Maybe also give him part of the damage (30% maybe?) as an AoE again. Make his W a multi-functional ability, like Lulu's W: on ally cast it becomes Harvesters of Sorrow, dealing AoE damage with life drain at the end. On self cast, it becomes Creeping Death, dealing lower damage than HoS and no heal, but increasing defenses. Then get rid of/reduce the passive XP bonus. Nerf dragon ghost in some way. Make it have tether range out of which its HP starts decaying or reduce its stats. And for the love of God, increase his movespeed. He will never be viable solo lane if any opponent can just walk out of his most damaging abillity.

It's something along the lines of 16 months since they destroyed the lore, with no fix in sight, like, yeah, okay, the League is no more, could you tell us SOMETHING about?:

The bottom line is, don't expect Rito to deliver on promises made.

Possibly because he is the hardest to address.

My guess is that they waited a patch or two to see how things would shake out. Then analysis and planning can take another couple of patches for such a big problem. Then Worlds comes along - they don't want to make really big changes during Worlds. My guess, although it is just a guess, is that they still have faith in his bot lane role. It makes sense to release those changes with the other marksmen after Worlds. Admittedly less given that he doesn't use the same items, but still.

It's the same thing that happened to cass, she was really weak following her rework but because of world's they couldn't a dress her lack of power

Morde is gonna be getting some changes after worlds, I dunno if it'll be crippling nerfs or a small scope rework, but we won't know until skt win in the finals

Technically they did address it already. Addressing it doesn't mean fixing it or making it as good as it once was. They did allow W to be casted on self. Which is addressing solo morde.
