Daily note that Azir has no passive on high elo

As someone who plays Azir since his release, standing at Diamond 4, I barely use my tower. Its like, hey enemy team, here you go 150 free gold IN MOST OF THE TIMES.

I use it like, twice per game in very a situational fight (usually in mid t2, when we're attacking the t3 or defending it). Wasn't it the reason that Revive got removed from the game? c'mon...

sry for bad english, im from Brazil and i've created an account just to say that here, because in BR Boards there are no effects at all on feedback. Director Coulson, playing since Season 1 (early 2010).

This may just be my personal opinion, but a highly situational passive actually seems pretty cool to me as long as its contribution to the champion's power budget is considered as such.

To me, there's something compelling about a passive that you get really big plays out of occasionally as opposed to a passive that provides a small boost to every fight, all the time. I guess it's a matter of whether you prefer reliability or high moments.

It rarely feels rewarding. Sure at times it's cool because some people don't respect the tower, but when it's 1/4 or less HP it's basically "hey, tower is almost dead. Auto it and go for Azir."

Actually, Azir literally has no passive. Creating the tower is active. But that's beside the point.

I like Repertoir's view on the issue. If he's strong enough, a weak passive is fine: if he's not, he needs to be stronger, not to have a stronger passive specifically.

Trust me, discussing balance with brazilians is almost impossible.

You think that discussing balance with NA players is difficult? Then you haven't tried to discuss with brazilians. They will just downvote you to oblivion and insult you, or say that what you are saying is just "cry" of someone who does not know how to play. It is almost impossible to discuss something with most brazilians because of how they behave.

For example, try posting a thread on "Mecânicas de Jogo e Balanceamento" (BR version of Gameplay & Balance) saying that Riven needs nerfs... Even if you explain the reasons why (she has animation canceling, she can burst you down in a couple of seconds without giving you time to react, she has a shield that scales with AD, etc) you WILL be downvoted to oblivion. Then people will say "Riven is balanced" and "Just stack armor" or worse... they will start to insult you "All that you say is cry" "Guy, stop with faggotness" "You are a junky bronze"

Not that I am not saying that Riven needs nerfs, this is just an example. You may argue that Riven is balanced which is fine, but you need to explain why.

Another example: No matter how much you try to explain current problems with the ranked system, people will just assume that you are a bronze/silver player that is "crying" because trolls/noobs/feeders are ruining your matches, and that you are saying that this is the reason why you are stuck on that elo, when the actual reason is that you are a noob that doesn't know how to play the game.

And this is just because I am trying to discuss about LoL. For example, I've tried to discuss LGBT-related threads, but on everyone of them, I was just downvoted to oblivion and received responses like "everything is homophobia now" "gays are just trying to call attention"

The brazilian community is horrible. I am not saying that such problems do not exist on NA, but it is safe to say that they exist on a much lesser extent. It is impossible to discuss balance with brazilians, especially since they do not have direct communication with rioters that actually work on balancing champions, such as CertainlyT and Repertoir (even if you hate CertainlyT, he is still there, working on champions balancing directly).

Also, there are many other problems. For example, at low elo, you can't have a single battle where people don't say "gg izi" (gg easy) at the end of battle, and it is still difficult to have an high-elo match where people don't say this. Brazilians like to repeat the same unfunny jokes over and over... The fashion now is to say "é de plasma ou de soled" when you kill someone, even if you didn't actually solo-ed the enemy (the joke is that you say that when you were 1x1ing someone, but people now just use this for when you kill someone, and this joke has gone stale) Brazilians really like to use fallacies to dismiss you, for example... K/D/A and elo are constantly used to dismiss someone's argument at BR servers, even if you made a point that is correct. On the brazilian forums, people just don't know how to correctly use downvotes. They simply don't understand that downvote is not something to use when you don't like the user that posted, or if you don't like the subject, of if you disagree with what has been posted... Downvoted is to be used when the user in question is not contributing to the discussion. Try to explain that to brazilians, though, you will just be downvoted (ironically).

The only reason why I still play at the brazilian servers is because my friends play there, people on the Facebook groups play there, so I need to be part of the BR servers to better communicate with them. I would really miss playing with my friends that I like so much, I have formed many friendships on League of Legends and I want to keep them. If weren't for that single reason, I would just move to NA... Even with worse ping and language issues, it is way better to play there.

Brazil has a population of 200 million people and is an extremely diverse country. A diversity I'm certain is reflected on it's player base. But do keep talking about them as if they somehow all behave the same and making gross generalizations about an entire region of players. You know how stupid saying "americans are assholes" sounds? It sounds just as stupid when said about any group of people.

But you know what, you have a point. Obviously things like unnecessary flaming, stupid ideas about balance and trolling are extremely rare in the NA boards and servers. People definitely never bring up your ELO or K/D/A to flame you here by saying things like "STFU u're 0/5" or "STFU u're in bronze, u don't know shit". Nobody says "ez" at the end of matches or talk trash. Nope, never happens. Probably because americans are so superior.

I say those things because I am a brazilian myself. There is a reason to why brazilians are the most hated people on the internet.

Again, I am not saying that those things never happen on NA. However, I've played enough time on both servers to be able to say that the NA is superior. Although only slighty.

That's not how it works. That just makes it more sad that you are that ignorant when talking about people from your own country. Your personal experience, which is a tiny, tiny fraction of all matches and interactions between players in each region is by no means a representative sample of either. And that's not to mention the factor that with this shitty attitude of yours maybe your interactions tend to be negative because you're the common denominator.

My advice, if you don't want to come off as ignorant all the time as you go about life, is don't make gross generalizations about large groups of based on anecdotal evidence. Some of the worse things in the world come out of that sort of flawed thinking.

Not every champion has a great passive. It's the overall kit that counts, and Azir's is better than most. Udyr has 1 basic skill he doesn't use every match, and he doesn't even get an ultimate.

his pheonix stance gives him some very good wave clear and damage plus turtle stance gives him good sustain and when you mix his bear stance with tiger its really hard to duel him then you have his passive that gives him even more attack speed to get even more autos out idk what you are talking about

I have to agree. It's not only impossible to discuss with brazilians ( Imagine Dragon is my nick on brazilian server ), but the boards of there doesn't seem to have a lot of people. Riot doesn't listen at all for the community there. You guys at least have Riot Repertoir
