Are all Silver supports super salty?

I honestly can't stand playing ranked anymore. I've been hardstuck silver for the longest time because of people who can't play their lanes, autofilled roles, AFK's, rage quits, and the list goes on. The most recent thing that pisses me off is supports who think they are the carry. I have had so many matches where the support, not a tank btw, goes in by themselves and expects me, the ADC, to follow them when it's a bad fight to take. We are both at halfish health and, for example, Brand hits a pillar and manages to stun or Morgana hits a stun on the tank support at almost full health, then expects me to magically teleport into auto attack range and deal a ridiculous amount of damage to kill them without taking damage and getting killed by the enemy ADC. Then next thing you know, chat is blowing up from the support calling me bad for not doing anything and letting them die. God forbid you try to tell them that it was a bad fight and you should have stayed back because apparently you don't know what you're talking about.

Or how about when they decided to go put a deep ward in the enemy jungle when we have no vision on the bot lane or the enemy jungler and everybody is alive, they get caught out, try to leave, then die. All of a sudden, it's your fault for not following him and still farming in lane. Can't say anything though because they're right and your wrong. Next thing you know, they decide to take you farm because you're so bad and don't deserve it. That just pushes me over the edge. I'm not one to keep typing in chat, but when that happens, I lose my cool. Then you see in all chat the support calling me salty and wanting me reported.

The sad part about this is that it isn't a one time thing. This happens to me at least 6 times a week (not exactly as I mentioned) and I play around 3-4 games a day.

Whew, felt good to finally rant and get that off my chest.

Oh, I was salty AF. But I'm gold now. :p

And I don't flame anyone or let it influence my behavior in the game. Sometimes in order to have any chance of winning the game you have to just leave a hopelessly incompetent AD to rot and help the rest of the team, though.

Exactly, how many games did I won as a Zyra support because my ADC was so bad XD .

In silver the ADC is not good enough to carry, so supports carry. Sadly I don't play ranked that much anymore and I think this season will end, I'm already burned out after doing placements because it's long and I feel like I'm playing for nothing during that. As a main support I can say that ADC rage a lot because Blitz grab them and Draven get the kill (at level 2) and I get blamed because "You did nothing", yeah giving a second kill would be doing something but something not positive.

Honestly ADCs believe that they are the center of the world and that they must be protected but when you have an AP carry you can decide to protect that one instead late game, or heck if TOP or JUNGLER carry the game a support late game will help that one instead of ADC especially when ADC blame the support when THEY have horrible placements in-game.

PS: Support don't have to play a tank, playing a tank can feel pretty horrible when your ADC is very bad while if you play an AP support and you can somewhat and kill skishy targets that's better, hence why a lot of silver support play an AP carry champion rather than a tanky champions, it's also bad when you play a Leone or Thresh or you poke the ennemy champions to 50% and all your ADC do is farm wich mean he don't follow you, because when the time is right the ADC don't follow youyr engage or don't engage when they can get a kill but when they engage and it's bad you get to be insulted......... I'll advise you to play support and see for yourself because ADCs can't complain on that one.

I find there is an even amount of supports who will carry you through lane and int lane (just climbed to gold pretty much otp xayah)

over half my games I find that the support is decent enough for me to pull ahead and carry.

I guess I'm just insanely unlucky. I also have been playing a ton of Xayah and also Kai'sa (my two best ADCs) I can get games where I'm like 23/4, but most of the time, I'm getting killed because the support keeps inting and feeding. I'm at the point where anytime my support is in trouble to just ignore it. It would probably make me play better later rather than keep dying trying to save them.

just being honest here... if you are going 23/4 and still dying I think there is a bigger issue than just your support.

But I get what you mean, and yeah I learned a while ago that you should just play ADC as a solo carry. I go into most games expecting to have no support in fights (from any of the team) and im used to peeling for myself (very easy with xayah and kaisa ult) to keep alive.

As for in lane: Do what you think is right, not your support. If they want to go in and die then let them, take advantage of the distraction to get some more CS. no point giving the enemy 2 kills. Oh... never hesitate to /mute all.

Out of lane: Expect to have to play solo again unless your team proves otherwise. I never push without my ult since its my only chance at surviving most of the time.

No offence, but if that were true then no-one would ever have made it out of silver. If you're good enough to break through eventually you will.

Edit - not implying that you're not mechanically good enough to get promoted; but as Cind3rkick says you probably need to adjust your playstyle to win in spite of your teammates instead of letting them drag you down.

Well you and your support should be even in lane, so when one goes in the other can follow. It's called matching the aggression of your laner, if you don't, you are guaranteed to have a feeding bot lane.
