YI AND KAT NERFS
I have been playing league since season 4 and although there are a few things about the game i dont agree with, master yi and katarina. THEY HAVE NO COUNTER. During games, especially the low elo games, Yi and Kat are regularly played. any team with a master yi and/or kat will win 90% of their games. Many people online say "thats because low elo players dont know how to counter them. its very simple, just play a champ tha-" BULLSH*T. CC may be able to counter kat but according to rito, assassins are supposed to have high damage with little to no cc.
the only way around this is to play a high cc support in the mid lane and get zoned from cs anyway due to not dealing any damage, and leaving your team without a mage/assassin for the late game.
master yi has a similar issue in the laning phase. Although master yi may be as squishy as katarina he still has that well known BS high damage and kite we have come to love. Yi has a built in zohnyas that deals damage. RIOT WHAT THE F*CK WHERE YOU SMOKING!?!?!?
I play games where i am 15/8/8 at around 25-30 minutes with VI in then all of a sudden there is a 5/5/? master yi + devourer who has been farming jungle all game who just comes up and kills me with a Q and a few basics, meditates and walks away full health.
Riot all the league community is asking is for you to NERF THERE DAMAGE. you dont need to give kat mana (would still be appreciated) or make yi vulnerable during his q, just nerf the damage (base and/or scalings).
i am writing this after leaving a ga,e where i was playing syndra against a katarina. we both backed and came back to lane at level 5 with 0/0/0 with similar cs. i had bought a chalice and poked kat to half health then we hit lvl 6 shortly after. when i used Q & E (my knockback) kat pressed Q, E, R. i died instantly, even though i flashed as soon as she shunpo-ed. i died. both 0/0/0. both level 6. i got butt f*cked.
(for those of you thinking i wrote this because im salty or just because i am low elo and dont know how to counter cancer, i know 3 people whom play ranked much more than me and are in gold. they skip ranked games when they see a kat in champ select. know why? losing 3 lp is better than losing 20+ and wasting 20 minutes.)
