Riot says they want to solve the problems with dynamic queue before they add solo queue. Then they proceed to do nothing to fix the problems with dynamic queue even though solutions have been suggested multiple times over. And considering solo queue would survive just fine on its own regardless of dynamic queue, it's kind of obvious they have no intention of adding solo queue.

And I'm certain they are iterating over it as we speak. But those things take time.

I would give it another 3 weeks before starting to worry. (Given the last update was only 3 weeks ago.)

The problems with dynamic queue have existed well over 3 months, not 3 weeks. And there have been countless suggestions as to how to fix some of those problems. For those of us who are actually paying attention, the most obvious problem is the lack of support role choices. Countless people have suggsted that Riot implement a system that allows 3rd and 4th pick preferences for those that are comfortable with more than 2 roles, but don't want to fill. It's a system that could be absolutely nothing but beneficial and Riot just straight up ignored it. And Riot themselves mentioned that support role preferences might be low and they would consider adding incentives for choosing those roles, but not one mention of support or fill choice incentives has been mentioned since dynamic queue came out. If you could name anything Riot has done to improve dynamic queue since its introduction other than bug fixes (you originally couldn't choose chromas or ward skins), I would be actually be impressed.

From the looks of things, After Dynamic Q get's fixed. (Whenever that will be)

Riot knew that the champion select from Dynamic Q was going to be the same as Dynamic Q. Probably why they are trying to near perfect that Q before proceeding (or deciding to do so) to creating Solo Q.
