How to fix Yasuo

One of Yasuo's biggest problems right now lies within his base stats. I mean, look at him. It's like he invested all his points into critical hits. Now I know what you're thinking: "You want to BUFF Yasuo!?" Not necessarily, my friends. What I propose we do is offset some of his innate power to bolster his early game, while maintaining the same level of late-game strength. Here's how it's done:

  • Passive: Intent: [REMOVED]
  • Last Breath (R): Yasuo's Critical Strike Chance is increased by 50/75/100% (of his base crit)
  • Passive: Resolve: Shield strength increased
  • Base stats: Increased accordingly to compensate

Now let's explain what this means for Yasuo. You'll need a lot more than just a item 3087 to get the ball rolling, but you'll have an easier time getting through the early game at the cost of those crazy criticals until levels 6, 11 and 16. Basically, what we're doing here is making his passive crit bonus scale based on ranks in his ultimate. And because we're already taking away a lot of his raw power prior to late-game, we'll be compensating him with buffs to his base stats and shield, along with letting his critical strikes do FULL DAMAGE. That's right, your crits will be doing normal damage. It's only fair to remove the critical damage penalty when he won't be landing as many critical strikes until at least level 11. And by the time he's level 16, he's already that late-game powerhouse we know and love. Or hate. Just about everything else stays the same. You won't get destroyed by cheesy crits until Yasuo gets more items and levels, and you won't have such a hard time getting to late-game if you choose to play Yasuo. All with the same reward at the end. Everyone's favorite windy wanderer has been taking some serious bullying, and the only way to buff him while keeping him in line is to trade early power for durability until late-game, where Yasuo truly shines. Tell me what you think.
