What happened to Rod of Ages buffs?

I heard that a buff to rod of ages hit PBE AP per stack increased from 4 AP -> 6 AP Max Stacks 40 AP -> 60 AP Rod of Ages total AP 100 AP -> 120 AP

And then it got reverted, and they told they would look another way to buff it. Is it still going to get buffed?
