LB killing zed while ulting (IDK)

I was Ulting as Zed and as I was in the mid ult, I died from lb jumping. IDK if it's a bug from new rework or just she timed it extremely well. My friends were seeing it too and they told me I was not closing on Lb (you know how 3 shadows go around that champ you ult and then you appear) and I got killed. when the chain hits, it does proc on untargetable champions. But I have to admit that I can't remember a similar situation with Zed. You should probably try that in a custom game with a friend.
