Nautilus AP Tank jungle

I main Nautilus and I understand his role as a Pure Tank and that he's suppose to be CCing as much as possible. It's hard to carry in Solo Q and I was wanting to get some opinion on my Nautilus build.

Runes Attack Speed - Reds Armor - Yellows Cooldown Reduction (5%) - Blues Scaling Magic Resistance - Blue

Build Spectral Wraiths Mobility Boots Nashors Tooth Randuins Omen Banshees Veil Liandrys Torment

Again, just trying to find something that has 40% CDR , AP, and at least 1.0 Attack Speed.

I would say that your build will feel lacking in game. Nautilus is that big guy who gets into a fight and stomps around. He has a nice shield, which scales off of his health if I recall. Due to the way that effective health is calculated, more health and armor also makes the shield more effective.

Spectral Wraith start isn't bad, because early on, the difference between Golem and Wraith is pretty negligible (some slight armor and hp). However, as the game scales on, I feel like this build will be kinda squishy to go in and dive towers super hard. The only armor you have is Randuin's Omen, which is nice, but that will stop you around 150. If their carry has LW, you're looking closer to 100 armor, which isn't enough reduction to take turret damage hardly at all. I almost feel like an earlier Sunfire Cape will help increase your dps just as much as Liandry's until very late game when everyone has tons of HP.

Also, you won't be needing 40% CDR with just your items. Blue elixer, Runes/Masteries, Jungle item, blue buff, Spirit's Visage, Frozen Heart. There are a large number of options for CDR at a jungler's disposal. The attack speed bonus from Nashor's Tooth won't help the jungle clear that significantly, especially as the game moves on. You're sacrificing a ton of tankiness in midgame for a mediocre damage increase.

If you're looking for a fun trick to increase your damage and tankiness, try Seeker's Armguard. You'll be scaling both that and your spectral wraith simultaneously by farming jungle. So you'll be getting some nice stats for the gold you are paying. Later on, turn that into a Zhonya's for increased AP and utility. You can pull the extra damage, get the extra armor (nearly a randuin's worth of armor), and since you'll be slightly less tanky building AP, the zhonya's active can allow for your crazy engages. As always, build situationally. If you're in need of MR, just get a negatron cloak. If you want a nice mix of stats for your gold, build that negatron into locket of the iron solari. That gives your whole team the extra MR, gives you another shield to survive initial burst, HP, and the CDR you want. (base CDR + Wraith + Locket is already in the 30s. Blue buff hits 40 by second full item completion)

At this point, my build is already as tanky as your full build with a much lower gold investment. From this core, you can expand into raw damage with things like a void staff and rabadon's. If you need to get tankier, go for Sunfire Cape and Randuins Omen to pick up HP and armor for tower diving. I think this will be much more flexible than your current build due to its higher innate tankiness and utility.

TL;DR Try out Spectral Wraith > Seeker's Armguard for core, with whatever boots you need. Mobility for ganking, Tabi for AD enemies, or Merc's for AP enemies. It will be a much smoother power curve for your midgame team fighting.

Not the tankiest of builds, but it can work if you're able to get some early kills and snowball.

Heck Nashor's alone would be more than enough, it's more about what your team needs and what feels good in your hands.

Personally I just rush tank on Nautilus when I jungle. I build Quill Coat and move on from there. I don't buy Nashor's or attack speed of any kind (though I do take 15% in my runes). I don't get mana regen or CDR, either. If I decide to get magic penetration I usually go for an Abyssal rather than a Liandry's for the better defensive stats and helpful aura.

If you do follow this you will be blue-dependent for at least a while, much like Amumu. In exchange you push 4.5k maximum HP and your shield puts you near 5.3-5.4k while also doing some crazy AoE damage while it is up. That plus your passive, the AoE aura from Sunfire, and your other CC abilities makes you one of the best (if not the very best) disruptors in the game come teamfights, not to mention your ability to initiate is incredibly strong as well.

I can say that it is more than possible to carry a team with this build. Your goal is not to kill the enemy, but instead to make sure your team kills the enemy. You wade into a fight and CC everyone you can as often as you can, focusing specifically on anyone who is targeting your damage dealers. You might also try ulting their ADC somewhere in the middle of that, since your ult will probably hit at least 2 enemies on its travel path. I wouldn't recommend trying to attack their ADC directly though. Just get them out of the fight as long as you can.

If you play it right, you can single-handedly shut down most of the enemy team during every team fight.

Just my two cents.
