Bots in Coop vs AI

So recently a friend of mine picked up league and i was gonna show him the ropes with coop vs ai and well every single game we got into was full of bots on my team, they only has ghost and heal and pick free to play champs and just feed. Ive tried a couple other games with him thinking it was just that 1 time but around 5 games later it was still happening, every single time. I even went alone thinking it was a level difference thing but wasnt. I usually play bots to just mess around with new champs and for first win of the day but after 3 games by myself all the games had bots on my team. I reported all the bots but it doesnt seem to do anything. At this point its getting aggravating that theres such a high concentration of bots everywhere. Is it that hard to incorporate a recaptha to deter bots Rito?

Unfortunately these bot accounts are by RIOT themselves whom of which won't ever owe up to it. No matter how often you try to bring up this issue, you can't really draw any attention to the AI since the majority of league is PVP oriented anyways. The devs have done maybe more than 3 things with them (excluding events) over the course of a couple years, but they really don't seem to care about helping newbies understand how tough it is in the PVP environment. I would have loved to see some kind of catering to the AI side because when the "doom bots" event came out, it was very challenging and changed my aspect of teamwork in a positive way, pretty hard. If the AI were designed to be self learning, they just might even throw the pros under the bus or prove to be a challenge. This could be the very element that can teach players how to play harder and smarter through individual services/games.

If i find a real player in CO vs AI its rare, i say about 95% of all them games are bots. I used to report them all but, after countless matches of them, its just useless nothing will happen to them, and Riot will never address it. Thankfully its vs AI, and not against real players, though i heard people saying they starting to migrate into normal ques.

After several days of them I had a few games in a row with all humans. It was nice. May have been a recent sweep or just luck, but it was nice.

Just let us assign lanes to AI for our custom games, Riot.

I reported all of them and I also submitted a ticket with a picture of the after match stat that lists all their summoner names. It's an everyday thing now.

honestly... co-op vs ai* is a terrible 'learning experience' anyway. in terms of the game teaching players how to buy appropriate items, ward, jungle, capture objectives, etc the practice modes are god awful. at least now you have you vs all ai game that you can completely control the pace of. wanna teach your friend where is best to ward or what walls are flashable etc? you have way more time to do that now while only pushing whatever lanes you feel like. it's also way better than practice tool for a number of things because you can have two full teams.

whenever i used to play this mode it was just smurfs going 46-0, rushing the game to the end asap. that's even less useful to me than what we have now

Had this issue yesterday, was in a vs AI game with 4 bots on my team. They ended up all coming to mid but, as I play Xayah, I’ve found she needs to go solo to level properly but doesn’t 2v1 very well until mid-late game. These bots steal minion kills and then die by enemy turrets more than enemy bots. Does anyone know of a way to kind of persuade or “move” the bots on ally team to a different lane to try and evenly push? It would definitely be helpful. Thanks in advance

Maybe they are new players trying to learn the game too?

If you wanna play Co-Op vs AI with real people your best bet is Intermediate difficulty, might make it harder on your friend who's just learning the ropes, but it's still your best bet (not a Guarantee though sadly, fricking bots).

never had that happen to me.. but i've had an account since season 1.. maybe just bare with it till your(if there is an mmr) improves.. I play bots every once in a while mainly to try new junglers and never thought my team mates were bots. They may be just new to the game and dying not knowing what to do. I don't see how bots inting benefits the person using bots in any way.

I actually kind of like playing with up to 4 bots and still get xp - sometimes makes it occasionally hard, or at least a little bit more difficult.
