Wouldn't it be cool if Tahm's Tongue Lash ability applied on-hit effects?

I wonder if riot considered making Tongue Lash apply on hit effects. It already works the same as his autos when it comes to his own passive, and hitting someone with a tongue seems sort of auto-attack like, so making it apply on hit effects seems like it would work intuitively with his design.

More importantly, I just really feel like tongue lash should work with Braum's passive--Braum-Tahm, it just feels so right.
