1v1 Tournament

So watching the ALL STAR event last year in 2018, the 1v1's really just looked so fun for me and i thought of the idea that Riot in the same way, could bring a 1v1 tournament to all servers. Treat it just like the clash and can win loot! I seriously think that this would be so fun and that RIOT should consider this as an event!

Let's say each player who enters the competition has 10 1v1 games in which he is in a pool of players with more or less the same skill as him. Everybody in pool plays against each other and the top 4 then plays a semi final and the winners there then obviously a final?

I know a LOT of my friends who would definitely take part in this tournament. PLEASE consider this as a special event just like clash or even if the idea looks great, even then as a ranked que option! Think about it. There is a ranked for every game mode except ARAM. Why not a ranked for 1v1's? It it showcased in big events like the ALL STAR event and so why not implemented in-game?

Just a suggestion and I really hope to see some good response on this idea because I personally would absolutely LOVE it! As I am sure other player will too! And even if they don't, there is still the 5v5 Ranked option.

I would like to see that happen but what about the balance in the game mode? See, some champion are really good at 1v1 situation, such asXinZhao ,Riven, Tryndamere, MasterYi, and it would cause that the most of player only pick this kind of champion in order to win the game. I am pretty sure that Riot would not like to see this happen, because they wanna keep champions diversity.

The real issue is just ranged vs melee.

Pick Jayce and auto-win vs any melee champ.

Good idea and would be great experience and a rank ladder with top three champions played in the game mode would be the best thing ever, the fact that this game mode is straight up pure skill no luck no shady team mates it's just you and the enemy, no unbalance problems at all, any champion can 1v1 ranged or melee no problem it all depends on how you play which is the point of this skill based gamemode, it would reduce toxicity dramatically there's literally no one to blame for the lose bu yourself.

ya but the problem is if you play something like Nasus it just makes every other thing like Annie Lissandra Sona unviable, and since it's 1v1 then every adc is also unviable.

so the only champions really able to be used are like Darius Garen Olaf DrMundo. rather than being about more skill, it's more about the champion you pick because there's less macro involved and less you can play around. so if you're an Annie main and they pick Nasus you literally can't do anything the entire game and will lose.
