So I finished my placements and went 7 wind and 3 losses. I'm a little confused since I got bronze 3... Last season I went 2-8 and got bronze 4. I would've liked to be at least silver but it didn't happen. How are the placements based on? Last season I was bronze 4. If anyone wants to know. Thank you for your replies!
Live2LetDie1 votesthen you got placed where you should of. Almost everyone was guranteed this year to get placed lower and if your lucky you get placed where you finished last season. I will still say it had to do with the new master division being added but idk. Be happy you got placed above where you finished last season. My 6/4 placements put me in g4 from p5
FierceSTEAK1 votesIf you were ranked last season, no matter how many games you win you will be placed in a rank similar to what you were last season unless you lose 9 games out of 10 or something.
For example, I was gold 4 last season, and when I won 8/10 placement games, I thought I would be placed in G3 or higher, but I was placed in G 5, and had to rank up all the way up to plat 5 which took me 50 games.
On the other hand, if you were unranked, winning 7/10 would probably get you around silver 2 or maybe higher.
