draven and syndra updates

hi guys, i believe these 2 need to be adjusted as the game evolves they offer less with each patch.

Draven: i really appreciate trying to make each character unique and draven is definately that but he drops too far off the mark in terms of difficulty, for instance both he and graves are low range high explosive characters but graves is insanely easier to play and offers wave clear while draven doesnt offer the same instantanious wave clear or even the explosiveness. His axes are what makes him unique but i believe adding scaling to successful catches on the same target may improve it.

Syndra: syndra isn't too far out of touch but i feel her ult could be made more team friendly. By making her ult damage enemies it passes through to hit its target i think this would add a lot to her team play and potentially slightly more aoe for her throw would also offer a great deal.

well thanks guys and i hope you take my suggestions on board, cheers.

I dont really play either of these 2 champs because the difficulty isn't worth the risk for the carry.

You instantly lost an opinion about these needing changes the moment you said this.

Oh. You deleted it in order to make my post seem pointless. OK then.

This is a logical fallacy.

I admit, I could have worded it better, but he doesn't even play them, and he says they need changes... I honestly didn't want to go in depth on how that was very dumb of him to even say that.

Neither of those are currently needing a change:

Draven: You compared a Draven to a Graves. Graves offers burst damage while Draven offers high consistent damage that is far greater than most other carries IF you catch the axes.

Syndra: All of her skills except her ultimate already hit in an aoe. She offers a unique system because of how to juggle her balls. She also has interesting combos to perform.

yeah i can see what your saying with syndra and i do like her anyway i just thought it'd be good but draven, yeah he is consistent damage IF he catches his axes and i know every character needs a weakness but in an actual team fight its just not happening and with such low range he drops 1 and that's him done even a lot of melee characters have more range he'd be lucky to get 2 successful catches before hes dead same thing would happen against graves. I'm just saying he needs something because its pretty 1 sided in charcter selection. I see what your saying and you make points but i think i make some myself. id be happy to try any tips if you have any?

I'm not a draven main but a few things - you don't NEED to catch the axes. Your damage will be that of a regular carry if you don't with the ability to activate an extra powerful attack every few seconds. He's a typical adc they blow up fast the trick is to know who can kill you if they get close to you and let your team handle that person until you see them use their spells then you can go in for the kill. You're also forgetting that you can enter team fights with two axes spinning already giving you 2 free empowered attacks. The fact that you can boost your TOTAL attack damage by 85% on an AD is insane so yes it does have to come with drawbacks. Not only that but he's got an attack speed steroid on top of that too.

ok so your saying take less risk catching them during team fights and just try and get off some high once off damage every time its available ? i get carried away trying to catch them sometimes cause thats like his thing but thats not a bad suggestion ill give it a try cheers :)

It depends on your skill level - the best Draven should be able to juggle 3 axes (yes 3 that's not a typo) during a team fight which would allow him to output more damage than any other adc except maybe a vayne vs a tanky team. You don't have to change the world overnight slowly build your way up there. You can start by not catching any to catching a few and soon juggling all 3 axes.

yeah i know and like i can juggle them fine just in lane but in a team fight im down to about 1, maybe im just not that good lol cheers bud :) anyways gtg laterz

As a Synda player, she is in a good place with her abilities. Like previously mentioned, her Q,W, and E are aoe abilities while her ult is a single target and can do a lot of damage when she has a lot of orbs out.

I quite easily beat out a Kassadin and a Zed.
