In an all out fight, nothing beats tryndamere. If the yi uses his ghostblade and ult to sort of kite tryndamere's ult out, he might stand a chance.

It should be rather close, but once Trynd ults, all Yi has to do is run in circles for a bit and kite trynd until it wears off.

Yes, Yi can kite with his ult and Q.

master yi can kite trynd during his ult and should be able to 2 shot tyrnd down to 1 hp easily because of the true damage on top of the huge crits.

People seem to forget that tryn has a gap closer and a heavy AD reduction. Yi on the other hand can meditate through undying rage. Could swing either way but usually i see a tryn winning this.

with trynd critting for +1000 damage late game with 2.0 attack speed there's no way i can see yi tanking 5 seconds because thats still 600 damage per second after yi's damage reduction

well considering its a 70% flat damage reduction and tryn has 0 armor pen it would be more around the 200 range which yi heals 220 per second at max rank (and it increases if he is lower HP)

Not a chance. The thing only reduces 70% dmg.
