**is there any chance that anytime soon riot will disable the auto fill system ? ** Because to be honest, with my own experience since this system started is not really satisfying, rather its annoying and frustrating. The reasons are : !. when you get the fill, you tend to ask to switch with someone who are able to take that role. This may severe your focus from the champion selection to counter enemy picks, or it may also lead to trolling since you do not really know how to play that role, 2. players rather wants to dodge instead if they got the role they dont even picked in the 1st place, 3. whats the point of having the 1st and secondary role picks, if you will have the role you never even know how to play in the 1st place, 4. flaming other players while on game also happens . 5. players who got the role they do not want doesnt care and will take a champion that is not fit for the role, (like soraka mid/ top).

In conclusion, i hope that anytime soon , riot will disable this ridiculous and fustrating autofil system ( specially in rank ), I do not know about the other players, but for me, this system is dragging me down ,

they will likely remove it as soon as all roles are played in equal proportion. so basically when the same amount of players queue up for mid as they do for support.

I believe riot should remove auto fill from bronze to plat. The reason is the queue times in these elos should be short already and bronze-gold players can't play 2 roles properly let alone like 5. Me for example, can't play adc for my life and every time i get adc, my team will lose that game. It's really frustrating imo. Not only for me but for my mates who are in the game with me.

They put auto fill into effect so that they could keep role selection around in some way.

If they get rid of auto fill they are likely going to completely remove role selection since they have clearly displayed wanting games to start faster over trying to get everyone in their stated desired position.

I actually prefer this over what season 5 and far better then season 6 had but then again I am totally fine with playing every third game as support.

I actually picked up support as my backup position towards the end of season 2 due to it usually be open and in turn for seasons 3 through 5 I was able to play more then half of my ranked games top lane and about a quarter of them as support with the remainder being a mix of everything else.

Season 6 made me stop having support as my secondary because I was literally put in it almost every game if it was listed due to a lack of anyone playing it. In turn exponential bottle necking happened.

It is not like you are force to play support more then once every 4 or 5 games (in theory you will only have to autofill support once every 5 games at most) and if you can't deal with set backs like that or how to turn them into your own advantage by become a decent support you do not deserve to climb the ladder.
