Is Bard a good support? Or should I just stick with Nami?

Yes he's good, but he plays differently and arguably has a higher skill floor than Nami. I find him pretty fun, but you'll have to find out yourself.
Echoing this post: Bard is more difficult to play/learn.
In my experience, both provide different purposes. It's up to personal preference, to me, neither one seems straight better than the other.
Bard is crazy strong in team compositions when you're doing 5's or normals with a premade group, really bad soloq because of no coordination.
I'd say, for soloq, just stick to Nami unless you know you can work with your team to coordinate.
Nami and Bard fill certain clicks in the game... the ults and q can be used can be arguable used for the same thing however bards its much worse to deal with. if you are looking to poor everything into the ad carry. Nami is the one you want. But if you need someone to reset or reposition a fight... that bard.
Bard is a bit of a lane bully
nami is uselss lategame. bard is for late game team fights
Bard is literally the only support that fuels your lane with Hot Cocoa. Mull that over for a bit
bard is probably the best support(imo) he just seems to have a high skill floor and skill ceiling, meaning essentially he takes a bunch of practice to get used to but once you do he's amazing. also he takes some decent communication to fully utilize.
Bard gives me a level of enjoyment and frustration above any other champion. The plays man the plays. Ive gotten my adc a full health double kill when they were at about 20% hp. I've gotten a penta. I countlessly make epic escapes/baits. I just have all around good fun with every successful bigplay.
I am very partial to bard to have gone through the many many many epic fails needed to unleash the bard.
Bard is the best man
