Im sick of the remake system

Seriously tho , Can someone explain to me how tf does this thing work ? Im in a ranked game , we have an afk rakan , He has no items , didnt move an inch from his spawn location , he's clearly not here , Then 2 minutes later , we get " A summoner has disconneted" , Like dude , He's been disconnected from the start of the game , then of course , we're not allowed to remake and just deal with a 25 mins long 4v5 game .

I do not understand whats the conditions for a remake to happen , I first thought it was : If a player has no items and didnt move at all since the game started , The team is allowed to remake , but then this shit happens , Does someone know how it works , It happened to me at least 3 times this week.

The system recognized them as having connected. My client will freeze up while loading sometimes, and I won't even notice, because the wait times can vary. By the time they realize it is stuck, they restart, it may be 1-2 minutes into the game (or more).

It is BS, and the system needs a ton of work.

There's been a bug lately where dodges do nothing and the match starts anyways for some reason and riot refuses to just fucking acknowledge that.

yes id much rather they remove it all together

there are 2 remake bugs 1: if someone suicides near the dc'd player and they receive xp 2: if they have the buiscuit mastery

remakes otherwise happen even if you reconnect

According to the announcement article Riot made when releasing remakes, the player has to be AFK or D/Ced for at least 90 seconds by the three-minute mark in order for a remake to be offered. In your example, if the player truly was connected for 2 minutes and THEN D/Ced, the system wouldn't catch it because he was only gone for sixty seconds when the three-minute mark hit. It sounds like he was AFK when the game loaded, got auto-kicked by the system after not moving for an extended period of time, and subsequently screwed you guys over by never coming back and simultaneously removing your option to remake.

Not saying that the system Riot has is ideal, but we can at least say it's working as designed.

I sympathise, but

and just deal with a 25 mins long 4v5 game

Why didn't you FF @15 or open mid?

It's also pretty awesome when your game crashes in a completely won game at 20 minutes, for no reason, and then you have to patch the client, for no reason, this takes over 5 minutes, and then you lose LP when the score is 24/2 and you personally had 12 kills and scored the early objectives for your team etc.

Like you have 5 minutes to reconnect, but the client just becomes more and more trash every year, you cannot even select runes half the time, incredibly toxic rules to accompany the clients performance imo.

Just another situation where skill has nothing to do with the results of rank.

Honestly 4v5s are easier to win than 5v5s

There's bugs with loading lately, and if the system detects them either still connected or trying to join the game it cancels the remake option.

I feel they should adjust that though as I have had moments where that very thing happens. Not sure how they could make it better though in that aspect. The remake system could just use some work overall though.

why isnt it just % of time moving?

The rule states that if your enemy team has an afk, the remake will always pass a vote, and if your team has an afk, you may not pass a remake vote, and will probably lose the game.
