Granted the armor shred requires 6 hits to get 30% instead of instant 35%.
I really like the idea of the new item especially on Xin and combining this with Ghost blade for max % and flat penetration

(she is on my pedestal, she loves everything about this item so i think it will become her core)
(synergy with ult, but i dont see him dominating since he still sucks early)

i consider the new bc to be a very strong item, whether it will dominate or not is debatable, if it can compete with the alternatives then i think ppl will pick it over them

So I guess it depends on what are your goals. The new TBC is stronger only if you can survive enough to proc the full armor shred stacks as you lost the base armor pen and have reduced AD, and you get a worse item path build, so I don't really think it can substitute LW on the champs that build it, but is a stronger option for the champs that needed armor pen but couldn't afford to go with LW I think it will be interesting to see the new synergy with Yomuu and BoTRK though on bruisers
Sire Hippington1 voteshaveing to land 6 hits for the shred is a huge deal, even if you do land 7 hits, thats still only an ~15%arpen in average. unless you can hit for a long time on your target, LW will be far more efficient for raw damage. and honestly, if you want it as a LW substitute, the current one is far more sufficient as the 10 flatpen and the early brut help alot vs lowish armor targets, and you need a 200+armor target for the new bc to breake even with the flat pen at max stacks.
The new BC is more for ad-tanks to support their DDs with the shred while getting some tankiness and cdr. I guess it will be awsome on Reksai and VI and evt bring a jungle-wu/pant comeback

Sire Hippington1 votesjust that most off them rely on upfront burst, so they have the armorpen AFTER they blown their burst... On more tanky builts especially from junglers it's great, but for damage, especially on burst-assasins, it's not really great. And the rage effeckt is only semi great, as many of those also synergies with trinity alot, wasteing one rage-passive.
not saying it's a bad item, but it lost it's spot for ad-casters and went into a far more supportive direction, more focused on ad-tanks. However, this leaves ad-casters an item short for me, as i don't really like ymouu's that much...

I don't think it's the best for assassins, either, but I highly doubt that some of them will be dropping it entirely.
Sire Hippington1 votesfor vi it'S great on jungle as she's more a tanky initiate rather than assasin, but as sololaner probably not to great, it'S awsome on gnar cause he'S an ad-TANK, works on jungletpant but not as great on lane pant as you really need the brutalizer to push your early advantage, same for riven, Zed will focus on Yomuu's as most Zeds already did, and BC never was a great xin item as he has no way to proc it on range or aoe, he works much better with yomuu's
FantasySniper1 votesFor melees, it looks especially attractive, but most assassins might end up just getting Youmuu's Ghostblade, and I sincerely doubt ranged champions would bother (Unless they're Lucian)
