Tahm Kench Q idea!

I know that all his mechanics are set in but I was wondering if you had tried the idea of his Q functioning like a Hook? But to only have his hook work hitting a champion with three stacks and maybe do a mini devour while keeping him rooted all the while. Think it would be better than the stun for the support role and would theme better with him especially since hes using his tongue to do it. Any other thoughts on this?

Hes already rooted while doing his Q and I figured it would be more balanced if he was rooted while he devours with his Q.
