Zed Laning Phase and Trading

Hello everyone.

By reading the title you know what this is about,I'm a Zed main for a very long time now,yet i still don't know a way of managing to get good/decent CS without getting poked, especially against ranged champions such as Ahri,Velkoz, Ziggs etc. or even some champions who are just extremely aggressive such as Yasuo. The difficult thing is that if i try to farm the ranged champions always poke me with autos which eventually leads to a Recall and to a loss of CS and XP and if i try to trade with them i miss my CS it's kind of a tough situation, can someone please tell me how to deal with that without getting poked?I'd appreciate it a lot.

  1. Now moving on to aggressive champions. The thing with them is that i always miss CS or i get out traded. For example laning against Yasuo can sometimes really be hell for me,leaving the fact that Zed VS. Yasuo is a skill match up it really is annoying cause when he dashes at me either i am forced to stay under tower or if i fight him he just out trades me cause of minions (Enemy and Ally) and there is not really any hope of winning a trade with him levels 1-5 at level 6 i do have a chance but problem is by then i'd either have 1 or 2 deaths or be 20 or more CS behind him and he'd be a level ahead. If someone could give me tips on how to have a stable laning phase that would be Great. If you've read this far, thanks for reading .

Zed vs yasuo

  • Zed loses pre 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Put 2 points into e

  • take e at level 2 vs all melees

  • The goal is to poke him down to 70 percent without passive up then you can kill by ulting when in range, and q and w until exaust wears off then shadow combo him

  • your job pre 6 is to farm rush ghostblade

  • look for poke damage over full trades just proc tld then back off

  • recall timing is extremely important after kills happen don't greed for the extra 1 wave. make sure to secure the recall

  • if you hit 6 first in the matchup maintain the pressure by zoning him cs

  • fighting him away from minions is preferable

  • do not fight yasuo in minion waves stick to poking him

  • bait him to dash to minions to push the wave towards you then back off and poke him

  • When playing vs yasuo all in when wind wall is down is preferable

  • pre 6 go for cs post 6 harass
