Champion Mastery 6 and 7
I have a gripe with champion mastery. I don't like the fact that to get level 6 and 7 you have to use blue essence, champion shards or champion permanents. In a sense, even though unlocking mastery 6 and 7 is free, you technically have to spend either RP or grind more games to get either more IP or if you're lucky more loot chests that could potentially have champion shards or blue essence. In addition, if you get your two level 6 tokens and don't have enough essence, shards or permanents to unlock mastery 6, if you happen to get more S's and S+'s in the meantime, you won't receive any level 7 tokens. I think these two issues make getting mastery 6 and 7 more frustrating than engaging.
Think of it as this: You get to whatever rank, only for you to get a chance to unlock a border with IP, essence or shards. Or you Gold or higher only to get the opportunity to buy Victorious skins. Although it's not quite the same, I think this is a fitting analogy.
I think a better solution would be to combine mastery tokens with the upcoming missions feature. Say, for example, to get level 6 on a champion, instead of combining two mastery 6 tokens and a champion shard, champion permanent or 500 blue essence, you combine it with 2 "completed mission tokens" that are specific to the role that champion is played in or even the champion itself.
