Want Silver 1? Beat these gold 1- Gold 4 people and its yours!

This is ridic Riot. Honestly. I understand Elo is a thing. And I understand MMR is a thing. But lets say I'm skill capped around Gold. My absolute best is Gold 3 for example. Next season starts and I'm Silver 2. DONT MAKE ME GO AGAINST GOLD 1 PEOPLE TO GET BACK TO WHERE I WAS. In no way does it make sense I have to compete with higher/mid Gold to get to Silver 1! If I'm in Silver 2... I think its only logical and fair.. I play silver 2 people. or silver 1 silver 3 (whoever is queing at the time immediately around my elo). I'll never agree with Having a higher MMR means you face higher level people to achieve an elo 5 steps below what your playing. I'm not diamond and cant just carry my way up. I'm apparently SIlver 2 skill level and I want to play SIlver 2 people. So fix your system. Thank you :)

An upset person who cant beat high Gold but just wants gold again for the trim next year :)
