Streak timer? Good idea or not?

I was lucky enough to have access to Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm and I tried it a bit, a bit too simple for my taste up to now but anyways, I noticed one nice thing, there is a little timer showing how much time you have left after a kill, or kill streak to score another one before it resets, it is pretty neat. The only downside I can see is that greedy player might go for that impossible kill just to keep streak going but then again, if we do everything thinking about that kind of people there won't be much innovation! Anyways just thought it is a nice thing.
