We Need a Grievous Wounds AD Item Again
I just finished an ARAM game with 3 healers on their team. The ARAM debuff didn't mean anything when they had ridiculous poke and the ability to heal any poke we managed to throw at them. I submit to you, we need either Executioner's Calling back or a new AD item with a grievous wounds passive. As you can see in the screenshot, we had a Twisted Fate perfectly capable of building a Morellonomicon. Yet when we asked him to build it, he said "I don't need any more mana regen because I have Seraph's Embrace;" something along those lines. As you can see, I was playing Kennen and after that I would have built it but the game ended. Twisted Fate is mostly to blame; but it wasn't entirely his fault, because with the lack of an AD heal reduction item, our Ashe and Trundle couldn't contribute much besides an ult or two. Something rather ironic is that the Nidalee actually rushed Morellonomicon as it is the quintessential AP item in the meta along with Zhonya's Hourglass. Also, as you can see, everyone on my team excluding Trundle died 10 times. To those thinking we were just feeders and couldn't even win with an Executioner's Calling. Well you're probably right, the Nidalee spears hurt quite a lot and at least a third of those deaths happened before anyone on my team had their ults. We fought back after about 10 minutes of dying and managed to kill them several times. So, perhaps the balancing in question isn't an AD Grievous Wounds item, but instead early poke on ARAM being king in all respects. Maybe a shield on the towers or something along those lines. Anyway, I think Executioner's Calling was an alright item, but if they were to consider an entirely new item, I think it would nice as maybe a toplaner or jungler oriented item. Instead of giving critical chance and attack speed, I think perhaps some AD/Lifesteal and the passive. In closing, I think Riot's attempts at balancing the ARAM debuff have been ultimately pointless especially when cases like this arise.
Please keep the comments pertaining to the subject at hand, but talk about ARAM, Nidalee and healing in general as it is still technically on topic.
