Runic echoes

I saw this item on pbe and I thought "hey this is pretty cool". Then I realized riot kind of just destroyed the legend of ap katarina jungle. Her life was already hard enough, but with runeglaive, she could clear like a beauty. Is there any way you guys at riot could buff katarina's jungling somehow or just not remove runeglaive? Anyone else not liking the runic echoes?

I think that the item may actually might bring back Jungle FIddlesticks. Too bad Fiddle is a champ that I instantly tilt once I see.
