What does this mean?

After a 7 win losing streak(two of which are at 0 lp), I finally won a game and I gained 15 lp. Then I noticed a yellow exclamation mark appeared in my profile. It warns me that though I'm shielded from demotion, I lost too many games to maintain my current rank, and it suggests me to win more games to prevent demotion. I don't really understand what this message was supposed to mean. Is it trying to tell me that if I don't win some ranked games soon I'm gonna get automatically demoted to silver? The preseason is coming soon, I just want to maintain gold before s8 so that I can earn my end of season rewards.
