Should Riot talk about S ranks?

Hi all,

Getting right to it, S ranks have been around for quite some time and there are lots of videos, posts, etc. on how to get an S rank. The point is, what people say about it is at best just speculations and guess work.

Only Riot knows how it works. So, should it remain a secret or be revealed?

We have all seen how people get into disputes in matches. If people knew what it means to play good, don't you think they would focus more on playing good rather than screaming at each other?

On the other hand, many players are frustrated about not being able to get an S rank to be used for getting the level 6 & 7. By the way, what good is being a level 7 Yasuo while you don't know how you got there?

Some say, if they reveal how it's done, gamers start playing for score. It is True! But isn't getting a better score related to more enjoyment overall?

From another perspective, if getting an S rank for different roles requires different play styles, as they said, then playing for score should not be a problem because the scores are calculated differently, although there might be some overlap.
