AFKs in Ranked need more attention

I recently had to play 2 4v5s back to back in ranked. Both of the games, the player disconnected after already playing for a few minutes so a remake was not available. I think players that have to play 4v5s should not be punished with LP loss solely because of someone else. i suggest devs implement a system like leaverbuster that reviews petitions by players that lose a 4v5 to return the LP they lost, as the current system is honestly awful at handling this scenario.

How is it different from feeding? A single feeding teammate can also solely lose you the game.

feeding is a lot harder for a bot to detect. this is a fixable issue as well, I'm just proposing a system for Afk's, completely unrelated to feeding.

Yes, but only for people who leave in the middle of a match. Shit happens, and if your computer poops out in the loading screen and there’s a remake I don’t support too harsh of penalties.

I was only suggesting this for games where an afk happens mid game. The leaverbuster system can detect if a player has afk'd for a significant amount of time, you can see this in the honor screen at the end of the game where they won't appear, and they'll also be greyed out on the scoreboard. Remakes are great, but they don't fix all afks
