It's pretty saddening to see everything go downhill. As of late with all the changes coming, to me they are just kidding down the game and making to so that it can literally be played by anyone of any skill level. I have put in 3 and a half if not more years of game time. And to be so easily trumped by what could potentially be one patch. Sure i know others are going to say " its not the patch. Just find a way to play against or counter them." How does that work when this rework drops Brand can 1v5 because of his new passive. Or Veigar's q passive now being his actual passive. Please explain how this is making the game better? When champions that can carry a game on their own aren't being touched Yasuo Teemo MasterYi These are only opinions. But i miss what league used to be. When it didn't take one person to win a match but everyone working together. not one person carrying. but every team comboing all they had. where base ult damage didn't make anyone op. But the items you bought were what gave you the edge. Riot please. stop. take a moment. and revise what you claim to be"progress" cause your killing the game for people that started and played for the ability to show off skill. The gamers that took pride in playing. Not playing a single champ and bragging about how good we do with a champ that has one skill to kill all.

If Brand 1v5 your team that means you all are dumb and grouped up in one spot.

Orianna can just as easily 1v5 a team if they group up.

I'd argue its a lot harder for the orianna to 1v5 them as opposed to the brand. But i agree with OP that the game is going downhill at an alarming rate.

That is what I am trying to say. league is not getting better. I want to see the game at its finest again. But if riot keeps this up. All the people playing since day one or earlier seasons will end up leaving. Its not even challenging. Riot is dropping reworks for all these champions but yasuo can get 1-2 kills and solo carry a match and he is balanced... It has gotten out of hand:/

I agree. The changes to shorten game times and make the game "easier" - vision changes (wards, trinkets), dragon global announcement, now jungle buff timers.

Changes to elo system --> League points --> dynamic queue now, so there's not even a facade of competitive play.

Increased use of wonky mechanics, that result in balance issues as they generally have to be nerfed to oblivion to prevent exploitation

no she cant, she is bursty and her peak is no where near as high as brand. Not to mention brand's is sustained burn damage over time COMBINED with aoe HIGH DAMAGE bursts. He is now the literal definition of facerolling.

Her full burst at final build can instakill any squishy which is normally 3 members (maybe more or less) and take at least 60% from a tank.

Brand's damage is mostly focused on his W and passive and if he manages to W 5 members then it's the enemy team's fault. His ultimate is not reliable against multiple enemies (its efficiency is highest against 2 enemies) and can be completely denied by walking away and if his passive explodes more than one person it's again the enemy's fault, it's like complaining about a Zilean bomb. His passive can also be denied by QSS and Zhonya's. Additionally, he has absolutely no escape and only a single target stun, so if the entire enemy team can't get close to him to instakill him (since he's squishy) then it's, yet again, the enemy's fault.

yes but the point your missing is oriana falls off slightly in groups ( or a 1v5 senario ) because they become over whelming and can just blitz her with her short range and her short aoe on her slow. Most of her damage will miss or she will get killed. New brand on the other hand is designed to excell in groups his ult tries "to make as many bombs as possible" and all of his other abilities are high damage aoe. brand has 5 high damage abilities and ori ony has 3 semi decent ones if that helps as an analogy.
