My Friend is Extremely Toxic and I'm having trouble playing with him.

So, my friend (not naming names) has been really toxic to random players we play with, getting mad at them for somewhat legitimate reasons like not paying attention to chat, giving mid laners double kills, etc. He doesn't see it as a problem, but it's getting harder and harder for me to play with him now that he's being so rude to the other players. For information, he's a Veigar main, used to main Riven , and he's in silver. Please serious discussion! I want to know what I can do to help him so that we can enjoy this game again!

I wish I knew what to tell you, but unless he can change his own behavior and realize it is still just a game there may not be anything you can do. You could also try to explain to him that this is not the kind of behavior you like to be around and if he does not start cleaning up his act then you simply cannot play with him anymore. Which is understandable since the community is toxic enough without his help. It is up to you but those are some options. You shouldn't have to feel this way while trying to have fun, it simply is not fair to you as a friend.

Hm, so he's used to playing carries. Riven mains aren't necessarily toxic, it's just that a certain crowd is attracted due to her glass cannon nature.

Honestly, here's what I suggest. I know he's silver and probably has in the past, but have him support or jungle for a few games. Instead of focusing on carrying, he'll have to help his team out a bit more. Maybe it'll calm him a bit when he has the pressure of helping the team, instead of expecting others to take care of themselves. Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe it'll help.

I had a friend who played with me. I found out rather quickly that he is toxic even to me without him knowing. He yell or stress the fact that I should gank for him only. I did tell him he was toxic which he took lightly. A few more chat restrictions and a ban and he finally changed.

Though if he binge plays a lot, he tends to get toxic again

So to answer your question, report him and wait for the punishment. That is if he does not listen to you explaining that he is toxic. Oh I forgot. This girl I knew played lol as well. Nicest girl when in real life; I actually got into a argument with her; age didn't know it was my alt account. Needless to say, when she did find out she quit lol. She saw the monster age had become
