MMR system sucks

I'm currently gold 1 on my main account. im trying to climb on a second account, but since i went too good (according to the mmr system) im getting paired against gold 3-5 and cant even win promos from silver 3. HOW DOES THIS EVEN MAKE SENSE.

On the other hand, there are Golds getting paired with Silvers because they are doing really poorly.

Just because you're in a certain Rank doesn't mean you are performing up to that Rank's average; that is why you have MMR and are matched based on it and not a far less accurate division system.

The problem is that I dont care about being matched correctly, I want the sivir skin And why are there ranks anyway if they wont mean anything. I should be matched with other silvers 4-2 and if im better than them ill go up till I am matched correctly, if i can't beat silvers thou, ill stay there

It is unfair that someone who did meh while climbing gets to climb easier than someone that did good. If anything this is punishing good players

If your MMR is better than where you're at, you get better LP gains to help you get to where you belong. You don't climb easily if you can't win matches that the system thinks you should be winning half the time.

It still gives makes the climb more difficult for some people than others. This is not correct, everyone should have the same chances in their promos. When i first got to my gold V promos, i was paired against silvers and gold Vs. Right now I'm the only silver in my promos against golds, and I'm in Silver III.

Actually, you do have the same chances. The game matches you so that you always have as close to a 50% chance to win as possible. If the game placed you with people in a lower MMR bracket (such as Silver 2 when you're in S2 promos but have a Gold 3 MMR) then you would have a better than 50% chance of winning because your own skill is tipping the balance. It doesn't artificially try to force you to win or lose by stacking a team; you just get better LP gains for the game instead.
