Recent Update bugged my client

So after my last update my client will not allow me to sign in to the client. In an attempt to fix this I closed and reopened my client and was able to sign in, but my play button was grayed out. I know 2 friends who are also experiencing this. Any insight or people in similar situations?

Same here, I mean not same situation but a lot of bugs. For instance, the end screen of a game is "frozen" for me, I can only click on "Quit", everything else is absolutely frozen (like if I hover my mouse over the champion icon, it doesn't show my rating, and I can't click on stats or reporting players)
