If you want to place higher in next season, you can improve your rank in the Preseason to do that.

No more rewards yes, but if you want to try and get higher for a better placement in the next season, then there is that. Other than that, no there's really not much to ranked for now.

If someone plays now and goes into silver from gold do they lose their gold rewards?
