Yasuo's Q is treated as a basic attack, that much we all know from the handy tooltip. However, what you do not know is that RIOT has lied to you! It is not treated as just a basic attack, rather it is a hybrid! It is treated as both an ability AND a basic attack, giving you the bonuses AND the consequences that comes with both! Why is it called a basic attack if it can be SILENCED! SILENCES AFFECT ABILITIES NOT AUTOS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE RIOT. If I am not mistaken, Fiora can PARRY it as well! Parry, meaning it is a basic attack. THEN WHY IS IT SILENCED RIOT? WHY CAN IT BE SILENCED?

THAT IS NOT FAIR.

It not a basic attack. It's an ability that acts like a basic attack. Ezreal Q, Gangplank Q, Fiora Ult, every champion with an on-hit modifier in their kit, etc, etc.

It says it is treated a basic attack, so it can be blocked by abilities (Fiora's W comes to mind). However, it can also be affected by Silences, which I find ridiculous.

It's TREATED (ie ACTS) like a basic attack, IT IS NOT A BASIC ATTACK. Just like Gangplanks Q, Ezreals Q, Fiora's Ultimate, Fizz's Q, Lucian's Passive, Yi's PAssive, Miss Fortune's Q, Shyvana's Q, Renektons W, Twitch's ult (to every target hit), Warwick's Ult, and then Yasuo's Q. Meaning they can all be blocked by Fiora's W, reduced damage by doran's shield/ninja tabi, slow is applied from hitting someone with randuins omen, and proc pantheon's shield.

Yasuo is only different in one regard. In that his Q only applies as a basic attack TO THE FIRST TARGET HIT. It is a ability, not a basic attack. Deal with it.

Does blind affect his q's? Everytime I play Teemo vs him it seems like it doesn't.

If it does at all (and I'm not entirely sure) then it would only apply if you're the first target hit. So it won't if he E>Q, or whirlwind Q, or if he hits you through another target with Q.

It's hard to be 100% sure unless I actually test it since blind has traditionally been very buggy and inconsistent.
